Kids of the Future Foundation is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We aim to align with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, and with the requirements of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA) and the federal Accessible Canada Act, where applicable.
Measures we take
- Semantic HTML and ARIA roles where appropriate.
- Keyboard-navigable interface with visible focus indicators.
- Sufficient color contrast in body content and interactive elements.
- Descriptive alt text on meaningful images.
- Responsive layouts that adapt to mobile, tablet, and desktop.
Known limitations
We are continuing to audit and improve the site. Some third-party embedded content (donation widgets, embedded forms, video players) may not yet meet the same standard. We are working to address these.
