KOTFF began with a question that was difficult to ignore: how can food still be going to waste while families in our own communities struggle to put meals on the table?
We started small - helping recover and redistribute food through community relationships, volunteers, and local support networks.
We don't ask families to prove they're struggling. We ask grocers, farms, and producers to share what would otherwise be wasted, and we work with neighbours who already know what their communities need.
What matters most to us is not scale. It is consistency, dignity, and showing up for people with care.
